The real estate market is not immune to the economic and social situation, which is why the increase in interest rates applied to mortgage housing loans (and also to other types of properties) has cooled investment intentions, compared to what was seen in previous years. Even so, the volume of business (buying and selling) of residential properties has stabilized in recent months. The same has been happening with the respective average sales prices.


If our economy does not suffer impactful exogenous shocks, it is expected that the behavior of the residential market (buying and selling) will follow the evolution of the inflation rate in the Eurozone: if it decreases, then Euribor - as the reference interest rate used by the ECB to control it - will also decrease and, consequently, encourage recourse to bank loans under more favorable conditions for property buyers.


On the supply side, a significant increase in used properties on the market is not expected. However, the weight of new properties will tend to be higher than the current one, given the significant pipeline of properties under construction (and already on sale) in the real estate market.


This is precisely the unique theme of this newsletter: sharing with those who read us some of the best solutions available on the market in terms of apartments in projects under construction. In this issue we present some solutions available in the municipality of Porto (Studios, 1-Bedroom and 2-Bedroom) and in Greater Porto (3-Bedroom), but we have others available to present to anyone who contacts us.
